I made the main body parts to attach to the slab. These pieces are very thick and may cause some problems later on.
After sketching, I rolled out a slab to start my relief. I then cut the edges off to shape the slab into a rectangle.
After that, I took legos and made indentions in the slab. I made them slightly bigger than the original lego so that when it fires, it will still fit.
After being fired, there was a giant crack going around the entire lizard. The legos also do not fit back into the indentions.
The lizard was pit fired and instead of just painting the entire thing, I thinned the paint out so that it would be more translucent. This project frustrated me and it's definitely not my favorite piece of work.
